The Application Programming Interface (API) is available to clients who are interested in integrating Burnside Mobile into their enterprise workflows. This API provides the necessary calls and documentation to make integration with work management systems easy.
The API is installed and configured on premises on a web server and it is configured to communicate with your ArcGIS Server or ArcGIS Online feature services. Using the programming tools of your choice you are able to consume the services to return lists of maintenance, open work items, and road sections. Using the work items controller you are able to assign open maintenance items to work orders. Once the work is complete a single call can be made to close maintenance items by the work order id.
