My Role and Responsibilities

My name is Adam, and I am Vice President of Engineering Services and a professional civil engineer representing Neegan Burnside Ltd. and R.J. Burnside & Associates Limited. With a focus on Northwestern Ontario and Manitoba, I am responsible for leading, managing, and developing people, business, projects, and company operations.

Over the past 20 years in the consulting industry, I have enjoyed a very diverse and wide range of engineering, management, and business experience that has driven a collective success when working with clients in the Indigenous, private, and public sectors.

My leadership experience includes previous roles as a principal and sector leader within private and publicly owned companies, including serving as a director of joint venture engineering limited partnerships.

My technical background and experience include civil, infrastructure, transportation, environmental, stormwater management, community development, mining, surveying, contract administration, and geotechnical | material testing projects.

I have an enhanced focus on the land development and transportation sectors, including design and contract administration with highways, municipal infrastructure, residential, institutional, commercial, and industrial land developments.

My Interests and Hobbies

I have a passion for a healthy and active lifestyle, participating in many sports and athletic programs such as hockey, track and field, skiing, football, golf, and tennis. As an avid outdoors person, I enjoy spending time with my family on the lake boating, fishing, playing watersports, relaxing around the campfire, and hiking to experience nature.
