Amy Boddy, C.E.T.
Project Manager | Woodstock Branch ManagerMy Role and Responsibilities
My name is Amy, and I am a Project Manager and Branch Manager of Burnside’s Woodstock office. My Burnside career began in the former Stratford office, working in fields such as design and drafting, surveying, contract administration, construction inspection and project management. I served as Branch Manager during the transition of the Stratford office to its current Woodstock location, which has been open since 2021 and is thriving in its new community.
I have had the opportunity to broaden my knowledge in many different engineering service areas during my career, including municipal drainage, linear infrastructure, and land development. My career has naturally progressed to both project management and people management, and I enjoy learning how to become a better and stronger manager by staying future-focused and engaging others to realize their goals and potential.
My Interests and Hobbies
I serve as a committee member of the Women of Burnside, a group that works to bring together women from across the company to inspire, learn and share while engaging in topics such as self-care, work-life balance, and mentorship. I also serve on the Woodstock social committee, where I help to build stronger relationships with employees and local businesses and help promote a positive workplace culture.
My husband, two daughters and I enjoy spending time by the pool and camping all over Ontario. I’ve been an avid fundraiser for the MS Society of Canada for many years, and I’m also a Girl Guide leader, where I provide girls with the opportunity to try new experiences, challenge themselves, and make a difference in the world.
