My name is Caitlin, and I am a Project Engineer at Burnside, specializing in Hydrogeology and Rural Land Drainage for over 10 years. I have been involved in all aspects of consulting projects, from field work to project management, working with public and private clients in groundwater and surface water assessment, management, and protection. I am also Branch Manager of Burnside’s Wingham office location.
I complete a variety of hydrogeological investigations for proposed and existing landfills, on-site sewage disposal, rural development, aggregate resources, and peer reviews. I am responsible for Ministry compliance monitoring and reporting, designing site instrumentation, monitoring programs and contingency plans, scheduling and budgeting, contractor selection and supervision, liaisons with regulatory agencies, and elected council and public presentations. In addition, I prepare Engineer’s Reports in accordance with the Drainage Act, R.S.O. 1990.
My Interests and Hobbies
I am a sports enthusiast who enjoys curling, baseball, and hockey. I am an active member of my curling club, volunteering on several committees over the last 10 years. I have also been a volunteer at the Belmore Maple Syrup Festival for many years.
