Debanjan Mookerjea, P.Eng.

My Role and Responsibilities

My name is Debanjan, and I have been with Burnside since 2003, initially working as a CAD operator in our Solid Waste Management group. I have had the opportunity to grow, develop skills, and gain experiences in several different sectors and geographies over the years, including golf services, water supply, transit, and general municipal consulting for many Southern Ontario municipalities.

I have also been heavily engaged in our International work, focusing on helping underserviced communities in places such as India, Oman, Barbados, Grenada, and Mozambique.

More recently, I have been working on several design-build projects for Infrastructure Ontario, where we are a part of Planning Design and Conformance teams, developing performance specifications as a part of procurement packages to retain design-build consortiums to advance infrastructure such as rail or correctional facilities.

My Interests and Hobbies

In my spare time, I love spending time with my family exploring new neighbourhoods, festivals, museums, galleries, skiing, hiking, and cooking.
