My Role and Responsibilities

My name is Heather, and I joined Burnside in 2014 as a Civil Designer. Over the years, my role has evolved into a Project Management position in which I manage various multi-disciplinary and civil land development projects with demanding schedules, including infills, large-scale subdivisions, complex site plans, rural developments, phased engineering projects, and associated budgeting responsibilities.

My multidisciplinary background has provided me with practical experience that has shaped me into a well-balanced team member with a wide range of skills. My exceptional client management skills have been achieved by meeting clients’ needs through practical answers, realistic goals, and strong and compassionate communication built on trusting relationships. 

My Interests and Hobbies

In my spare time, I enjoy time with my husband, my two awesome kids, and the family dog and cat. I am passionate about being healthy and outdoors, and I enjoy  camping, gardening, snowmobiling, skiing, soccer, and hockey.
