Groundwater Resources EngineerMy Role and Responsibilities
My name is Jackie, and I am a Groundwater Resources Engineer, responsible for leading groundwater studies for land development projects.
My projects at Burnside have focused on hydrogeological studies for land development applications, including the assessment of groundwater-surface water interactions, detailed groundwater balance calculations, assessment of development impacts to the groundwater regime, and the evaluation of infiltration measures to enhance groundwater recharge.
My responsibilities include all aspects of project management, including proposal preparation, coordinating field work programs (including drilling supervision, monitoring well installation, surface water flow and groundwater level monitoring, hydraulic conductivity and infiltration testing, water quality sampling and private well surveys), data analysis and interpretation, and report preparation.
My Interests and Hobbies
Outside of work, I keep myself busy by spending time with my young family.
