My Role and Responsibilities

My name is Jason, and I am Burnside’s Senior Vice President, Land Development, with a focus on Mixed Use developments. I am a respected leader in the land development industry, and I have a wide range of experience in many aspects of development, both as an owner and a consultant. I am also currently the Branch Manager of Burnside’s Pickering office.

The experience I have accumulated over my career includes engineering design management and project management of site development works, including roadworks and stormwater management facilities. I also have many years of experience in the negotiation of development agreements, cost sharing, front ending agreements, value engineering, due diligence and feasibility investigations, re-development phasing strategy development, and contract administration.

My Interests and Hobbies

When not in the office, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family, whether it be back-country trekking, canoeing, fishing, mountain biking, skiing, snowshoeing, or hunting.
