Jeff Paznar, P.Eng., EP
Project Manager | Senior EngineerMy Role and Responsibilities
My name is Jeff, and I am a Project Manager and Senior Project Engineer who has provided engineering services on a variety of projects for municipalities, Indigenous communities, and private clients across Canada. My focus has been on environmental and municipal infrastructure projects related to water and wastewater, and I am part of the Water and Wastewater senior leadership team.
I first joined Burnside in 2004 as a co-op student and following six co-op placements at Burnside and my graduation in 2008, I joined Burnside full time.
I have been actively involved in all aspects of water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including site investigations, Environmental Assessments, detailed design, tender preparation, and contract administration. In my current leadership role, I am responsible for client management, managing large multi-discipline projects and the training and development of junior staff. I am also one of the lead Public Health Engineers for the First Nation Inuit Health Branch (Health Canada) in Alberta, ensuring all water and wastewater projects are designed to consider all necessary and required public health measures.
My Interests and Hobbies
When not at work, I enjoy being active, playing sports, hiking, and surfing. I have a strong passion for travelling and have visited over 50 countries where I have hiked and summitted many mountains, including Mount Everest Base Camp.
