Jennifer Szczerbak, B.Sc., ECPD
Vice President, Ecology, Land DevelopmentMy Role and Responsibilities
My name is Jennifer, and I manage a group of ecologists that specialize in delivering Environmental Impact Studies, and Species at Risk and environmental permitting for large-scale, multi-disciplinary land development projects. I have over 20 years of experience in land development consulting, including large-scale residential, commercial, golf and resort projects.
Our Land Development Ecology team assists residential and commercial clients with due diligence, input to preliminary and detailed design, reporting, permitting and environmental | construction monitoring and erosion and sedimentation control, as well as project management from inception to completion. My role has included leading the environmental component of multi-phased residential subdivisions for high profile home builders and developers, resort, golf, and urban infill redevelopment projects. I have worked within the jurisdiction of local and regional municipalities and environmental conservation authorities throughout and surrounding the Greater Toronto Area and Simcoe Muskoka.
Prior to the entering the private sector, I applied my technical and communication expertise in a variety of public and private sector roles, including positions with Conservation Authorities and the Ministry of Northern Development, Mines, Natural Resources, and Forestry. I have built broad experience within the land development industry, starting as an aquatic field biologist before moving into project management.
My Interests and Hobbies
