Miles McNalty, P.Eng.

Role and Responsibilities

Miles is a Project Manager | Engineer with Burnside’s Water and Wastewater Linear Infrastructure Team, where he plays a key role in the design and delivery of significant linear water and wastewater projects across the Golden Horseshoe. Additionally, Miles has spent time at Burnside acquiring a broad range of experience in detailed civil design, preliminary design for transit projects, multi-disciplinary project coordination and contract administration.

Miles developed a passion for construction and the built environment at a young age and works alongside a dedicated and talented team to deliver critical public infrastructure projects. Miles joined Burnside as a co-op student in 2014 and has worked in a variety of areas leading up to his current role.

As a Hamilton resident and McMaster University graduate, Miles is well suited to serve as the inaugural Branch Manager of Burnside’s Hamilton office. Miles will be looking to build the team and areas of expertise out of this office, to regularly engage office staff with the surrounding community and continue to offer Burnside’s professional service to clients in the City of Hamilton and Niagara Region.

Interests and Hobbies

Miles enjoys staying active, being outdoors, travelling, and spending time with his family during his spare time. Miles thoroughly enjoys restoring and giving new life to old things – including motorcycles, trucks, tools, and equipment – and is nearing the completion of a full ‘down-to-the-brick’ renovation of his Hamilton home!
